Research

Research Overview

I explore how people teach, learn, and connect in online environments. Specifically, I focus on the relational, emotional, and design elements that shape engagement and impact. My research sits at the intersection of education, technology, and human development, and examines how educators navigate presence, trust, and adaptability in online settings.

I use qualitative and mixed-methods approaches to investigate instructional relationships, emerging technologies (including AI), faculty identity, and scalable innovation in teaching. I am driven by questions about how learning experiences are designed, how they are felt, and how they can evolve to meet complex, human-centered challenges.
